The MOBILE FIDELITY StudioTracker is a Moving Magnet phono cartridge, utilising an elliptical stylus and V-Twin dual-magnet generator system, allowing it to dig deep into record grooves to extract hidden cues, deliver heightened levels of information retrieval, and solidly convey analog’s prized bottomend frequencies.

Drawing on 40 years of making records at Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab, the new MoFi Electronics division is focused on improving the sonic integrity of audio reproduction in the home. Our products are the result of multiple collaborations with some of the world’s best audio designers, stemming from decades of experience in the studio. We designed three new highoutput, moving-magnet phono cartridges in collaboration with Allen Perkins of Spiral Groove. MoFi cartridges use a V-Twin dualmagnet generator that mirrors the design of a lathe’s stereo cutter head. Two powerful low-mass magnets are accurately aligned in parallel with the stereo record grooves to achieve excellent channel separation and detail retrieval true to the Original Master Recording. 

V-TWIN DUAL-MAGNET GENERATOR

Employing two low-mass, powerful magnets aligned in a V formation parallel with the stereo record grooves, StudioTracker accurately extracts precious details from your LPs.

ELLIPTICAL DIAMOND STYLUS

With a polymer body and elliptical stylus, StudioTracker offers surprising bang-for-your-buck value and a rich sound distinguished with a smooth, slightly forgiving top end.
